Today I learned a Hadith that made my heart feel so happy and motivated Alhamdulillah ♥️ Halima RA took care of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) for a period of time to earn a livelihood & BECAUSE of that she was blessed immensely, her breasts filled with milk (she had children of her own but wasn’t being able to breastfeed them but when she suckled the Prophet (PBUH) she was able to feed not only him (SAW) but her other infant too) SubhanAllah. When she left the house clouds came over her as protection from the heat, when she walked into a desert, it turned green, everything growing, life came into the desert. ALL BECAUSE she took care of the Prophet SAW. He (SAW) was an orphan. No one else had chosen to take care of him. But she was kind towards him (saw) and she hoped that Allah SWT would reward them through this effort. They were extremely poor. but when they showed kindness to the orphan boy who they had no clue was going to be our last messenger SAW and a blessing to mankind, the most blessed! Subhan Allah Now just tries to imagine the reward for doing good. Just try to imagine what reward is out there for all the good deeds you perform, for your kindness.. for your soft heart, kind words, hard work & sacrifices for your patience for your good intentions. Subhan Allah Allah’s reward is the greatest. It is so perfectly planned and delivered that we cannot even imagine it in our minds. Is there any doubt? No. There shouldn’t be. He is with us and He’s constantly giving us from His limitless mercy and bounties. Alhamdulillah, I often think about life and get very anxious. As I grow older, life keeps seeming harder. As I get closer to my Rabb, the trials also get harder. I look at life, and I wonder when it all changed? Has my frame of mind changed or life itself? Or maybe a bit of both. It has never seemed or felt harder than this! I often feel like the above and get overwhelmed. So many questions pop into my head. How will I do it? How will we manage? What is going to do about this or that? How will we get through it? It’s all unknown! And with the impacts of Covid, who knows what’s next? After all this thinking and all the stress and all the wondering about how we will end up, I do look around at all of His favors and I remind myself - look at where I am! I was there, He brought me here. I was lost, He guided me. I was unaware, He made me aware. I never thought I would get through my previous trials, but here I am - new hurdles but I am still getting by and holding strong. I tell myself ... I would worry about exams, but I managed to get through school... I would worry about health.. how many times has He cured me? ... I was worried about success, how many times has He given me more than I wished for! When I am hungry, He feeds me. When I am cold He keeps me warm. He has given me even though I worry so much about loss and failure. He gets me through always. He really gets me through all those things I never thought could work out. He is SO kind. Today I have been asked to focus on the topic of sincerity and doing things for the sake of Allah. SubhanAllah, what a beautiful topic. I share this verse from Surah Baqarah. It gives such a simple and clear message to all believers MashaAllah. All acts we perform will be judged by our intentions. Our sincerity. Sometimes we mean good but end up complicating things leading us to do more harm than good. As long as we try our best, clear ourselves, make an effort to undo any damage, InshaAllah Allah SWT is the most forgiving & most loving of those who have kind and good intentions. Sometimes we want to do something good for someone from the bottom of our hearts but we don’t have the means to achieve this. SubhanAllah, even for having the intention to do good there is so much reward even without accomplishing it. Those who will goodness upon others, with clear intentions, they are blessed by Allah SWT. Alhamdulillah The most important thing to understand in this world is, sincerity may seem like a simple concept but takes a lot of practice. Why so? Because we have to humble ourselves. It’s very easy to lose our way and get caught up in the rat race of this world full of expectations. People even show off and compete when they do good deeds like charity imagine! “I gave so and so this much to help them” “oh I give them this much every week!” Astaghfirullah! This is not sincere as we are not doing the good deed to benefit ourselves & the receiver if all we do is show off & compete. What we need to understand is, this is a beautiful loan we loan to Allah.. our final destination is back with Allah. We should be kind & do all good deeds for the sake of Allah. Without expecting anything in return from the receivers of our good deeds. When I do a good deed, tell yourself, I am doing it for the sake of Allah alone. I donated so and so... I employed so and so to help them out... it’s not for the status this will give me among ppl, it’s not to show I have power, it’s not to be better than others... it is purely to seek Allah’s pleasure, mercy, and forgiveness. Each good deed that we do with a sincere intention, is a favor Allah has granted us. Allahu Akbar.

Imagine the final day, the day of judgment. Yaum al fassal is mentioned in the Quran. The day when the final decision is made. This life is so temporary so fleeting. Allah says the man has been made to struggle and strive. This life is so hard and also full of His favors. We take each day as it comes because ultimately no one knows what’s coming. In a way, we are all reacting no matter how proactive we try to be. Imagine the day when all your striving, all your good deeds, your hard work, your honesty, your prayers... every single thing is in front of you. He’s there, and He’s saying, you have passed the test. You didn’t get full marks, no 💯 but a mere 65% maybe... but He’s saying, I know you tried to reach that 💯 mark... so I’ll let your 35% failures go... go on then, You have my blessing... Go on then, see the fruits of your earnest struggle. Can you imagine that? A permanent answer to your worries? A permanent abode where you don’t need to worry about losing your home, your wealth, your loved ones? A place where you are clad in the best of clothes, forget all the ZARA sales for a sec, imagine the finest brocades and jewels that are blessed and branded by Allah himself. Can you imagine it? Leaving this Dunya and its hopeless desires, it’s racing to the top, it’s dishonesty and it’s peer pressure behind...? Then just keep imagining it and keep praying and just pray Ya Allah to give me a beautiful life in this world and also in my Aakhira. Ameen, He can give us everything. So pray for everything. Why not. Why not pray and make dua for all the miracles that we think are not achievable. Pray for it all. He is the giver. He says “be, and it is”. There might be delays... there might be severe anxiety... but SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, keep reminding yourself of your final goal. Ya Allah tries us not any longer and showers us with ease, understanding, mercy, wisdom, rizq, coolness, humility, peace, forgiveness, work, jobs, purpose, gratefulness. Pray. And make it beautiful ☺️ He doesn’t need your prayers but He loves you for relying on Him, He loves it when you call out to Him because He is the creator and He always responds to His creation. I may be at my roughest patch yet, and so many of my followers reminded me of previous times when I went through periods where things didn’t work out. Sometimes it took years for things to form a picture of a beautiful life... as things fell apart other things started to work out and eventually there was a rhythm. Trials continued, ups and downs but things also progressed. Such is this life isn’t it? But in all these times, the comfort and the soothing were always in sujood. When I put my head down and I imagine the seven heavens, I imagine the sacred place and the presence of angels, when I imagine the level of worship and the wonders of the afterlife, when I imagine my Lord supreme and His unimaginable powers, the perfection that my dear Rabb possesses....... I cry out to Him seeking His help, He’s right there.. right here. Life is full of tribulation. It’s so so hard. Yet a sujood is all it takes to clear your head for a while.... and then you need to be in sujood again. These 5 prayers were not obligated to make life hard. They were obligated to help us manage our own anxieties. It’s such a beautiful respite. So pray ♥️ to pray is beautiful. Prayer is hope, prayer is reliance. Prayer is tawakkul. Prayer is the cure. A conversation with thy Lord supreme. Prayer leads to good deeds, forgiveness, self-awareness, confidence, humility, and strengthened faith. Prayer provides discipline. Prayer is when you should talk your heart out because in your life you cannot trust anyone more than Him. Ya Rabb. I pray because I need You. I need Your mercy, Your help, Your guidance, Your rizq, Your light, Your wisdom, Your kindness, Your thank (coolness). I need You my Rabb, to keep me going. To survive each second. So the last 2 days have been really tough ... I was very disheartened when something I had been devotedly praying for didn’t go as expected in the end and the outcome was negative in my limited knowledge. I couldn’t talk to anyone. I was so depressed I spent my time mostly alone, in tears... couldn’t eat wasn’t hungry and just couldn’t focus on anything. I didn’t even know what exactly to pray for anymore because I didn’t know what was best for me anymore. I was so confused. But I kept praying. I didn’t miss my prayers. I kept performing Salah on time. I wasn’t going to let Shaytaan win or get the better of me! This is also thanks to some of my amazing Instagram followers who sent me wonderful messages of hope and telling me not to give up on Allah’s mercy which is always near. Alhamdulillah- thank you all, you know who you are. Continuing to patiently pray for even two days after calamity strikes can make such a difference. I eventually started asking Allah to grant me sabr and peace. To help me get through the days one at a time. And I continued to ask for my prayer to be answered, the one that didn’t go as planned. I don’t really know how when and in which form it will eventually get answered. What I do know with full conviction is that it will be answered because I know my Lord, my Rabb answers all prayers and in the end, things turn out the way He plans them and He is indeed the best of planners. I’m not going to lie, my soul is pretty crushed right now but I am relying on Allah alone to heal me InshaAllah and I’m going to continue to pray InshaAllah for things to work out soon. Whether it’s physical sickness or mental.... my Rabb is the only one who can cure me and bring me back to health. 2020 was a year of illnesses both physical and mental, the strain of covid-19, and the anxiety that came with lockdown after lockdown. Most of it continues thus far in 2021. Without Allah’s mercy, we could be in a very dark place. Alas’ with all these trials, His mercy shines through and we still have so much to be grateful for. Today an accident happened which scared the life out of me even though the outcome wasn’t bad, but it could have been so bad. It could have hurt someone I love so badly that I can’t even think about it without a shiver. It really made me turn to Allah in thankfulness for the protection he gives us from accidents in general.
